Akubra Overload
The Akubras I have purchased new run a little large until worn a couple of times and they do get smaller and fit perfectly. I am a true 7 1/8th. The ones I have picked up used have run true to size.- Akubra Man

Does this fedora look too tall on me?
I read a general consensus here ... this hat looks good on you and the back of the brim should really be turned up ... It does take a bit to go from the wider western to the smaller brimmed fedora. I have a collection of Akubras with brim widths that measure from between 4 inches and 2 3/4th...- Akubra Man

I have read the term "Zoot Hat" while browsing hats on eBay and am curious if there are must have characteristics for a hat to be considered a "Zoot Hat" ? I like free range beef. We have a beef producer up here that opened his own butcher shop to sell his own raised free range beef. He has been open for the last 5 years ... must be enough of a demand for the product. His prices are competitive to other butcher shops.- Akubra Man
