    I remember buying my first Akubra and I thought it was mis-sized. I wear a 57 and it wore like a 58. One wearing for a couple of hours was all it took to size itself into a great fit ..... Akubras have a wire in the sweatband and I think that the shrinking has to do with that wire moving tighter...

    I was told by a retailer in Canada that David Morgan is also the North American distributor of Akubra. It runs parallel operations here .. one wholesaling to re-sellers and the other retailing to the public. Perhaps it has not offered the Bushman at a good price to the re-sellers of Akubra in N.A.
