    For reference for people that haven'y used it. Unless you were REALLY putting a lot on, you will never even notice residue on your pillowcases, headboard, etc. It's really no relation to putting greases in your hair.

    No its not like having grease in your hair. I work in Iraq half the year, I wear a "dab" and go through one tube every 4-5 weeks. My hair does not get dirty at all. As someone else stated I also use more when going out (2-3 times) and yes if you wear a hat you may need to use some water...

    I've used it for 25 years, It controls my hair and gives it a bit of healthy shine, never had a problem getting girls to run their finger through my hair! It takes me over a month to go through one tube, it truly is a “dab”. Its not meant to be grease or to really hold your hair in a “style”...

    Most every unit uses mentors and loaner gear, in the case of this event unfortunately the Allied reenactors in the PNW did not support it in any significant numbers, so the Allies that you see were for the most part VERY new i.e 1/3 plus their first event, another 1/3 their second event...
