Do you own a Tux?
Some pictures of what I will be wearing New Years. I just got the chesterfield from ebay (what can anyone tell me about the brand “Kennedy’s”?) Haven’t decided on the vest or a simple cumberbund, this vest does match the angle of the jacket perfect, but I may just go back to the cumberbund. -

That would be JROTC in HS, though I don't doubt everyone called it ROTC. It is still availabe in many High Schools. -

As someone already said “Reserve Officer Training Corps” in reference to the fact the photo says they are army students and someone else commented that they were not wearing uniforms i.e how could they be Army students. My comment was to say they could easily be Army student in that time frame... -

The chance of a MG42 firing out of battery and destroying the gun is slim to none. personally I think a cumberbund looks better with a dinner jacket. But both those lower vests look nice. I don't know which is more vintage or correct though. -

Fur coats?
I have a full length beaver coat that would be very at home at a harvard game. But since we are dressing "vintage" I don't see the need to be old to wear it.
