They are producing higher quality with those Khakis, that is the main reason they are higher priced, along with the fabric. Just remember that you and others think of "Savile Row" and certain makers located there because of their name and location only.- Tailor Tom

A custom suit!
My thoughts... Lonny, I suggest you bring along a coat and/or trousers that you like the fit of. They don't have to be exact, but close helps the Tailor very much when you and he are discussing things. Something like; I like this shoulder, but.... or I like this lapel, but..... etc. It helps...- Tailor Tom

Can low armholes be raised?
My little bit.... The answer is no. Even if you start with a large coat, the answer is still no. As it is a matter of the height of the side panel that determines the depth of the armhole. and there is not a way to make in taller.- Tailor Tom

Nudie Suits
A lot of those suits were made out of Polyester, sad to say. The colors were typically brighter and more varied in those years than wool, so it made for better stage/screen looks. And heavier poly at that, to hold the weight of all the stones...they are heavy. A matadors jacket looks...- Tailor Tom

Lonny, Dormeuil fabrics are truly superb, and yes I believe his pricing on that suit is correct, and actually sounds a bit low for a true bespoke suit, one here in the States would be more.
