    Lets see your Rolex watches

Very impressive group of Rolex watches. I have a Rolex I hadn't worn in so long I forgot I had it until I saw this thread. Don't remember much about it. I bought it from a antique watch dealer about 1992 -1994 at the old Lakewood Antique Mall in Atlanta, Ga. Had a booth there myself for about...

Show us your chocolate, your camel, your browns

Brown hats were a surprise for me. Never had much in the way of brown attire except for brown coats, shoes and occasional dk. brown sweater. Blue and gray were my primary colors. My first 2 fur felts were mid-60's Stetson fedoras from the same person. 1 medium gray, 1 dark brown. To my...

Thanks for the links. Good eye.....That was a very nice buy. Photos on the original listing didn't do justice to that hat at all.

Alex, you wear this style well. Is there a photo of the liner and sweatband posted some where on a lounge thread?

What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?

Nice color contrast on the Whippet. You look as natural wearing that hat as any of the old movie actors. Like you're just supposed to wear a fedora.

    THE MALLORY MILE

New to me Mallory Ten with puggaree. I posted this hat in the new hats threads but thought I would put it here also with a couple of extra photos for the Mallory wearers. Took these photos before a trip to the freezer just to be on the safe side. Going to need some brushing, Woolite...

Thanks for the input. I was looking through the Disney Diner last night and it looks like a side seam liner could be common with Disney Hats.

What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?

Thanks, Bowlerman....but this one is a fur felt Adams. A thick felt flat top wide ribbon back bow with a missing liner. One of my beater hats I pull out sometimes when it's raining.

Seems I have read some place on FL that a liner with the joining split on the side rather than at the back is a sign of a newer hat. How new would this indicate and would this hold true across most or all hat makers?
