Ebay Hats: Victories, Defeats, Gripes & Items of Interest

Yep.. I don't like the snipping "tactic" it'self. but, it's part of the game. I have done that myself. Sometimes intentionally sometimes raising my previous bid. what bothers me the most about snipping is ebay allowing a program to be set for snipping on their site. It's my opinion...

    Post War Blues, Soul & Rock. 1945 - 1975

Thanks for posting the additional versions. That makes 2 more versions of Sea Cruise I never heard before. Liked the Johnny Rivers version, not so much with Jerry Lee Lewis. Rivers could do a variety of song types well. Jerry Lee is well......Jerry Lee. Still think Frankie has the edge on...

Thanks rusty.. This hat only remains a beater because I'm to cheap to send it off for a cleaning...and to lazy to try it myself. It's got some minor dark stains.

I dislike the snipe tactic also.....This is not the place for me to get into how much I do dislike that kind of practice. But, it's their game and if you want to have an opportunity to use it to your advantage for having access to items you would not ordinarily find....it's just something you...

    Post War Blues, Soul & Rock. 1945 - 1975

First time on this thread. I love music but can't sing, play an instrument or dance....have no "ear" for music. I Like all types of music....as I have gotten older of course oldies (50s-60s) are my favorite now. I've always liked this song....can't be sad or unhappy while it's playing. If...

Great looking Marathon Rick. I got almost the same hat off Etsy back in Nov. I love it...and have gotten quite a few compliments on it in a city where baseball hats are king.

    What Are You Reading

Faithful...a very admirable character trait. You are to be commended and respected. Faithfulness seems to have gone the way of the black & white TV. There is still some around but you don't see them very often. When I am reading several books it's books for different reasons.

    Lets see your Rolex watches

I haven't worn my watch in a long time but I do remember thinking the same thing about the clasp issue and having the clasp adjusted a couple of times. Had issues with keeping closed from the weight of the watch. Never had the link spreading issue though.

    What Are You Reading

Greetings, don't get to this thread often but thought I would comment tonight. Now reading "The Defining Moment" by Jonathan Alter. Some early background on FDR through his first 100 days. John Jakes "On Secret Service". Does anyone else read 1 or 2 books at the same time?
