Thanks for the tips! I'll have to look for a big puff. The compact I got actually has this "screen" type thing, you remove it and put loose powder in it. I just don't know if I'd want to use it everyday.
Well, I found the Coty powder in the great packaging, very cool. But I've never used loose powder like this before. What is the best way to apply? I do have an old compact I recently purchased, I could put some in that. It just seems like it would be messy to try to use a powder brush?
I'm getting married in March in McKinney. I'm from Illinois and Missouri too but have been in Texas for 24 yrs now. My "native Texan" fiance is always teasing me about my "texasgirl" ID-lol. Yeah, I think the bracelet will be neat for my "blue," I guess no one knows much about it, oh well...
People magazine 8/28/06
The new People reviews the soundtrack and gives it 3 1/2 stars out of four. "They ingeniously incorporate period sounds-a bit of blues here, a touch of jazz there-throughout Idlewild...Who else would think of doing a Cab Calloway style call-and-response in a rap song?"
I've tried these kind of bases before and haven't had any success. However the Revlon Colorstay 12 hour eyeshadow is wonderful. It really lasts 12+ hours and I never get that "crease."

I've heard about this Jonathan product, but I haven't tried it yet. Although it's not "dry" you are suppose to be able to use it and skip a shampoo? I'm the same way, I can skip one day but by the third day it's just too oily...
Blue satin dress
I just won this dress, my first vintage clothing piece. I usually buy vintage hats and shoes, and wear more vintage-inspired clothing. But I just loved this dress!
I recently got this bracelet as my "something blue" for my upcoming wedding. Does anyone know what time period it may be from?

Victorian Trading Co has some Nataya dresses, and I think they may be a little less :)

I just went to Bon Ton! I got 3 pair of shoes, 2 were new old stock! They had some amazing vintage items. And of course Sam Moon is a Dallas staple- love it!
I just got the new Newport News catalog, and they had some great vintage-inspired shoes.
