I thought they were pretty cushiony and the soles are rubber and flexible. I had them on for several hours and the only part that was getting a little bothersome was the strap- I have a high instep, but I imagine that will stretch out.

These are super cute from Naturalizer and have a lower heel. Looks like they come in Black and Brown.

I took the cosmetology courses in high school and I remember that it's normal to lose up to 100 strands a day. It's more noticable on longer hair of course. You may be losing a bit more than usual due to the wedding stress, but I wouldn't start worrying yet! Some of the hair stylists may know...
