    Cocktail Museum....

The first funeral I ever played music for, at the Church where I currently serve, was for a gentleman who was 108 years old when he died. He was a retired firefighter. In his late 80's he was the president of the Fireman's Benevolent Association upon the request of the membership as none of the...

    What is American Culture?

From Ohio?????? Whatchoo know 'bout shrimp poor boy????;) ;) ;) I agree with you all, "pop culture" and "car culture" are American phenomena. I think we've assimilated many cultures and kept the best they have to offer. Well, until now where the immigrants want to have their country in ours.

    Miller's Crossing

I've heard that. I remember seeing it years ago and recognizing the streetcar coming up Carondelet St. at Common St. I didn't realize MOST of it was filmed here until I watched the interviews and such.

    Miller's Crossing

Great movie. Just rented the DVD from Blockbuster online. Opening title sequence/menu is a shot into the wood, the lens draws back, and a black fedora drops onto the forest floor. I tried to attach it, however it's invalid, likely too big. When you click play, the wind blows the hat away.

How d'ye do. Glad to be here. Now: Borsalinos (modern)

My San Remo from 1978 (according to one Borsalino date code thread) is just this same way. It's the most comfortable and softest of any hat I own, however it keeps its shape just fine.
