That's too bad they've discontinued everything. Thank goodness not the powder, I adore it. The lipstick sounded nice. I guess since the inventory is depleted you can't request it at the VCS.:(
I use 2 of the Revlon's plus don't forget L'Oreal's Crimson Joy #300 It's in the Endless line. It's my favorite and is a vintage shade. It has great texture and it's matte.
I have 2 of the Vogue patterns also. I haven't yet made them but I can't wait to. They look lovely.
I believe you can buy the wool felt online.

My compact also belonged to my grandmother. It is a larger size with black enamel. The back side is textured. It still faintly says Fifth Rex on the ribbon on the puff. It has it's screen, but no matter how little powder I put in it is still comes through around the edges and covers the mirror...
Thank you Juitterbugdoll and Lizzie.
I saw those shoes on the other thread. Very cute. I guess then, if I didn't want to have a bare leg with a shoe, I could wear knee highs since they are technically vintage. I will have to look for some ballet flats, I think I like that idea. Come to think...
I think Audrey is an aquired taste. I didn't have much interest in her when I was younger, but I adore her now. I have to agree with your comments on her Decodoll, 100%. Sabrina is my favorite film of hers.
When I was little my Grandmother was always 39. She kept her hair colored and being a kid, I never questioned it, until my Mom was getting close to being 39.....then I started to wonder.;) My Grandmother was always wonderfully young, in looks and at heart.
I went out and bought a jar of Ponds cold cream and a tin of Nivea the other day. So far so good. I am blemish prone but thought maybe I am agrivating it with too much strong stuff. We shall see..............
Hi Paisly,
Thanks for the encouragement. I bookmarked that link. It looks good.
As far as my knee, I have been taking a glucosamine/chondroiten tablet religously for about a year now. It has helped quite it a bit. It has gotten rid of the contant click I had whenever my knee would bend. It has...
Jitterbugdoll, since you also wear the house dresses, let me ask you...do you wear stockings with them? I don't like wearing stockings around the house, but then I don't know what kind of shoe is appropriate with a house dress. Some type of flat? But then the stocking issue again....so what do...
I have to agree with that. I am 33 and people always think I am in my early 20's. But on the other hand, in the area I live if you are over 30 and have a child you are expected to look and act a certain way, and that is not a look I want to achive. It's almost as if you need to look like you are...
I have had a bad knee for the past 16yrs so my weight tends to fluctuate. I was at my worst weight over the holidays. We got a tredmill in February since walking is the only exersise I can do with out hurting my knee. I have only lost 6lbs so far.:( But I can see a little tone difference since...
I noticed that the first pair is Made In USA. So it is likely that this is a style this manufacturer has always made and it's not a repro. There are very few shoes made in the US anymore.
