Mine also is my Granny, without a moment's hesitation. I lost her just 3 years ago this month. Born in 1913 she was the second oldest of 12 children and was like their second mother doing most of the washing, ironing and cleaning since she was a child. She met my Grandfather when...
This is the bra I wear. I find it has similar lines to the old styles since it is seamed and has fuller coverage. Yet, it isn't as severe as a bullet bra.

QT
I guess self tanners have come a long way since good ole' QT. Remember that? I used to use it when I was a teen ager. I have shyed away from self tanners since about 1997. The last thing I used was by Neutragena. It wasn't soposed to make you orange but it did, and I had to scrub my palms so...
I was picking out some new hairspray a few weeks ago and was looking for a brand that I recognized as vintage. Aside from Aqua Net, wich I have heard negative comments about there was nothing so I purchased a pump bottle of Suave. I found it to be quite sticky so I got a bottle of Breck arisol...
I was never really allowed to wear makeup either until I was about 13 I was able to wear a little pale lipstick. Nailpolish however was something I always loved, especially red, but my mom preferred pink. I remember my Grandmother doing my nails when I was three. Eventually I added powder when...

I do have the problem of too...
Just an update on the lip liner fill and powdering after that I mentioed in an earlier post. Hubby and I went out to dinner last night for our anniversary and I was wearing Revlon's Cherries in the Snow. I filled completely as Jitterbugdoll sugested and then powdered after blotting and botted...

I so want a large brimmed sun hat but I don't find anything like it, so I figure I'll...
Another Tip
I have found that when wearing my Revlon cream lipsticks, if I blot with tissue, and then dust over with loose powder and lightly blot again to bring the color back up, I get a nice matte finish that lasts for hours and does not kiss off or get on your teeth. I do loose some color...
I found "The Notebook" watchable and did enjoy the clothes very much. I also thought the makeup was nicely done. I thought maybe I would like the book better so I checked it out at my local library. Boy was I wrong! I thought the book was poorly written and even had gramatical mistakes (that's...
