    Ya know there exist plastic rain cover for hats all the way up to wide brim State Trooper models. There are a zillion on Ebay for almost no money. I used "hat rain cover" to search and find them. That way you can use your nice hat anytime.

    At 59 I wear the hats only really. I don't have suits shoes and all that just a couple timeless 30 year old work jackets that can go with chinos of today yet it all looks 40s-50s. For me it's basically just the hats.:fedora:

    I wouldn't consider gerneral cleaning, removing rust and bore attention a bad thing unless they removed the blueing finish. Rust is not nostalgic nor does it add to value in any way. It is a cancer that will ruin any grade of firearm if left alone.:eek:
