Spoolies rock!
Well, I had a bit of a hair-do disaster at the weekend. I used metal dinky curlers on my hair. (Thick, curly)
As soon as I tried to part the curl all I got was a whole heap of frizz!!!!
Ended up having to roll the back and sides.
Anyone else tried them?

Even when I wa very slim (mooons ago) I struggled to get into some British stores size 16. (Top Shop especially) and my very slim petite friend struggles to get a pair of trousers to fit. In fact, she has a batch of trousers that she bought in France and they are the only ones that fit nicely...
You must be so excited! I hope you're looking after yourself and getting loads of rest!
Any odd food cravings yet? Mine was tomatoes and fish sticks (those funny Surimi sticks!) I couldn't get enough!
It's such an amazing time.

What about Vintage?
I wear Soir de Paris by Bourjois, I'm not overly keen on the smell but at living history events elderly ladies always recognise it! It's quite heady. Violet I think.
For everyday I like Eternity or Casimir by Chopard. But for work I tend to stock to Rose by Floris or...
When I had one of many 'hair don't's' in my teens, I rang the Wella helpline. They suggested washing my hair and coating it in Vegetable oil then wrapping my hair in cling film (do you call it glad Wrap or something?)
It did lift the colour out and it's non harmful.
I ended up peroxide blonde...
Smoosh-age did occur with the bra I bought. (DD cup) :-(
And a note to the bigger gals...the flabby bits have to go somewhere...and with the high waisted thingys it ends up just below your bra making you look like the Pilsbury dough man.
Trust me.
Ladies, the photos came back. Incidentally I went for a day dress and jacket combo in the end but I thought you might like to see pics of the wedding, the lovely 'bride' is my pal shelley.

Handy hint from me (mum to 11 yr old) Breast feed!!!!! It works better than any exercise or faddy diet. I ended up slimmer than before I was pregnant!
Plus it's sooooo good for baby!
Congratulations, enjoy plenty...
Thanks ladies!

Me, well I really don't know. I have a plain Navy Frock, Navy Gaberdine fitted jacket, little tilt hat(maroon) and matching gloves and (now here's the tricky bit)...
Wow @ Feineman hats.....I want!!!!!! I Want!!!!
Do you have Monsoon or Accesorize over in the USA? I got a fab floppy brimmed hat there in summer last yr, they tend to repeat it every yr. Cost about £20 ($40?) However, in the sale was a bashed one (ever so slightly) so I bought that one too...
Oh Pink D. I agree with simon Pegg.....he's not your average hunk but I love him to bits!!!! Check out a series on Amazon called 'spaced' if you like his humour!
I love Dylan McDermott (whoever mentioned him, there's drool on my screen)
and of course Harrison Ford in the Indiana Jones films...
Yes, this is so familiar to me..
I used to live in Edinburgh and the wind seems to catch there on every street corner!
I worked in a big dept store on Princes St and had to cut down the side to get into the works entrance. Right alongside a taxi rank...Well everyday the wind used to catch my...
