That looks great! I love the thread on the wall. May have to steal that idea ;) I don't really have any suggestions? I took all my quilting scraps and have been cutting those into 5" squares, since there are a lot of patterns/books using 5" sq. But I don't know about when making clothes there is...
I bought the desk at Garden Ridge. Looks like there is one in Greenville. I don't know if they still have it, I bought it in 04 I think it was.

The only other place I've seen it is in the Ballard Designs catalog. And it's quite a bit higher, $499. I...
No scratches that I could see. Seemed like glass- not plastic- not sure what else they could be? Here's some better pictures. They are really old, and the metal shows that. Also, I found a name, Wellsworth.

this one is hard to tell, but it's just south of the ribbon
Thank you everyone! Yes I am loving it! I know, I am a little bit of a neat freak, it just calms me to know everything is in the proper location. ;)
I love seeing everyone's space! Thanks for posting. Maybe I will get inspired to try and make some clothing, right now it's just quilts. I...
I looked but couldn't find a thread about this. If I missed it, please merge.
After years of sewing on the dining room table, or anywear else I could find, I have gotten my own sewing room!
We moved into a new house that had a children's retreat. Since we have no kids, I quickly claimed...
I don't know. I went to UPS first and it said $80 something, so then I went to USPS and it had different prices listed based on size, etc. I don't know much about shipping- this is what came up- any help appreciated :)
