That looks great! I love the thread on the wall. May have to steal that idea ;) I don't really have any suggestions? I took all my quilting scraps and have been cutting those into 5" squares, since there are a lot of patterns/books using 5" sq. But I don't know about when making clothes there is...

I bought the desk at Garden Ridge. Looks like there is one in Greenville. I don't know if they still have it, I bought it in 04 I think it was. http://www.gardenridge.com/default.asp The only other place I've seen it is in the Ballard Designs catalog. And it's quite a bit higher, $499. I...

No scratches that I could see. Seemed like glass- not plastic- not sure what else they could be? Here's some better pictures. They are really old, and the metal shows that. Also, I found a name, Wellsworth.

Oh, I like the turquoise and pink! Very pretty! I need a chair. I've just got a spare one in there. I had a white rolling office chair with arms, but it fell apart. Garden Ridge is good for some things, but not for office chairs apparently.

    Baby Names? Vintage?

My middle name is Irene, named for my maternal grandmother. I didn't like it growing up, you know how kids are, but now I like it- not that I get to use it much. I like unique names as long as they aren't strange.

Shirt, I remeasured, and I keep getting 20" across the hip, maybe 20.5 a little lower. And it doesn't feel like there's any give to the fabric.

The seams just need to be resewn. I can do it if you want, but I'm no professional :) Here's the pictures- the first one is more what the actual color is. It's a really pretty dress, it just made my FFs look like torpedoes-lol this one is hard to tell, but it's just south of the ribbon

I looked but couldn't find a thread about this. If I missed it, please merge. After years of sewing on the dining room table, or anywear else I could find, I have gotten my own sewing room! We moved into a new house that had a children's retreat. Since we have no kids, I quickly claimed...
