Oooh gorgeous!
I'm a huge fan of wiggle dresses but, as deadpandiva says, it's incredibly hard to get them to fit - they have to fit so perfectly and there are so many different proportions to be taken into consideration! They are always too short in the waist for me and too big around the boobs!
I had a Gil Elvgren pin-ups diary last year and it seems such a waste to just throw away all the pictures. I'm a terrible hoarder and I already have too much 'stuff' littering my house so would anyone else like them? They are all full colour and just over A5 in size on reasonably heavy-weight...
Thanks for the advice people. I'm a little scared to wash them in case they do dry out or shrink. Would it be worth buying a home dry-cleaning kit? I've never bought one before so I don't know what they include.
I discovered this great free magazine in an antiques centre at the weekend called 'Antique Explorer'. The february edition has lots of articles on Bakelite and other early plastics. If anyone would like me to scan the articles for them drop me a PM. There are some great photos too.

Any thoughts? I'm not sure if they are actual kid leather but they are very very soft fine leather and lined. They are cream so they get very mucky and they charge me £20 at the dry cleaners!
This is a question for the british gals - I'm always a bit nervous about buying shoes listed in US sizes. I'm a UK 4.5 - does anyone know what US size that is? I think it's a 7-7.5. Anyone care to offer an opinion?!
Yup - very small! I'm usually an 8 in the modern world. I know a 10 is a 24" waist in Vivien's sizing but not sure about bust and hips. You could always call the shop and get them to give you the measurements of the overalls - I'm sure they would oblige.
I am honestly NOT going to use that...
Well, I'm not busty and there is a lot of room for maneouvre in there! I was actually considering taking them in a little under the arms. So you might get away with it. I'm a 32C/D if that helps you to work it out. Leg length will probably be a bit much (I'm 5'9") but they can always be taken...
