I'm casting about for a new series to start and I'm thinking of The X Files. By the time I discovered it it was well along in the story arc and I didn't want to come into it in the middle. I may Netflix it though. Any fans?
Not as cool as this one (or antique) but I saw a couple of similar shakers over the holidays:

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I usually love Charlie Kaufman and Kate Winslet but I just couldn't get into this one. I'll give it another go since it's the sort of film that is probably completely different when you watch it knowing what the end will be.
A woman I met at an online writers group. We've never met in real life but her online encouragement and example have really inspired me to write and draw more in the past couple of months. I'm reading/commenting on her novel right now and, mark my words, this one's going to be published.

There's a nice passage about him in Ruth Riechl's book Comfort Me With Apples. She says that Kaye was such a good cook that many of the major chefs in...
I can't find any images in a quick search of the web but I own the film and I'd be happy to do some screen caps for you tonight if that would be helpful. Also, I'm pretty sure I remember thinking there was a Vogue pattern that was a pretty close match for that dress. I probably have it...
Clooney, Krasinski and great women's outfits on Renee? I'm so there! Everything that's in the theaters right now is so depressing, it's hard to wait for April for this one to premiere.
There are some people who's personality just jumps out of old pictures--I so wish I could go out to lunch with Irene, she looks like so much fun!
I love the upholstery on that couch too.
