In partial answer to Surely, I may be lame but I haven't noticed many drastic changes due to growing membership since I've been around. As ALL website go as new members arrive the older ones get perterbed that they bring up topics that the old bubbas have thoroughly discussed a year earlier...
You can wear a fedora with most dress but perhaps not all. I regularly wear jeans and a sweat shirt with mine an still get comments on the hat. Technically it's timeless wear since jeans ans sweat shorts pretty much look the same as they did in 1939.
If it's warm enough for shorts it's warm...
He's one of those larger than life characters that did a lot of things during the war and is still around. I hope he wrote a book or enough for some one to do it.
Without sounding like a wise guy, hasn't everyone already realized that the quality of education is no longer what it once was? That's a universal given. I'm surprised that anyone is still surprised that the schools' product is lesser educated youth.
Once thing I am sure of is from several...

The fact is that you may not be able to get into gear again. It may depend on how your Mom feels about the holidays. My Mom was not a big holiday fan so a...
Change is inevitable in all things. As some one who has begun topics about vintage and non-vintage subjects alike all I can say is that people do not live by vintage alone. No site I visit has only threads on only site topics. All threads go astray just like conversations do when some says...
