I don't know much about the 3rd picture except that it's in downtown Worceseter, Massachusetts. Sorry for the bluriness, I tried to fix it but can't. [huh]
These are actual pictures I just scanned to save onto my hard drive. These pictures belong to a bank I currently work for. I saved them 3 years ago when they were cleaning out a back room and were going to throw them away!!!! There are a bunch of them in an old box and these are my...
Thanks and I feel your pain! I too have a size 27 girdle and it does nothing for me and I thought it was because it was vintage. :(
I will go with the 26! I can't wait to get one. I just want a cincher though for the summer. I don't wear stockings in the summer so don't need the whole...
Okay, I have read through this entire thread and boy is it long! :D
There is a ton of great stuff in here but I still have a question. I have a 27 inch waist and would like to to get it to a 26 so I can have my (36-26-36) measurements. Should I buy a size 26 cincher or a 27?
Thanks...
For those of you who are fond of the music during WWII I highly recommend the 3 CD disc set called
"As Time Goes By-World War II Songs.
I have had it for a couple of years now and I still play it weekly which is rare for me because I tend to get sick of CD's fairly quickly.

Thanks RetroMom, I will look for bigger rollers and a wave net. When I woke up this morning I had actually lost the rollers in the back and I still can't find them.
I think I will experiment with roller direction this weekend when I don't have to go out in public if I mess it up. ;)
Thanks for the complement Bonnie.
Yes I sleep with the sponge rollers. I have attempted to use more hair but the rollers are way too small. My problem is that the sponge rollers I bought were the only size they had. Does anyone know if they sell larger sponge rollers or just one size?
Okay, it came out a little better today. It is still super curly and I guess I need bigger rollers to make it less curly. [huh]
Anyhow, here is a pic. I put it in black and white because my eyes looked red and the glare on my face made me look sallow. :D
I only have a couple of hats. I was bidding on a lot of over 30 of them on eBay, but I just lost.
I guess it's just as well. I have a hard time making them look good on me.
I 2nd the Oak Bar, they have great drinks there.
I have not been to the top of the Pru since I was a little kid but I remember the view and it was fantastic!
Legal's has great chowda and it will definitely be worth your while to try some.
For carbs to get you fueled up for the marathon...
Okay, I have given up on the shower cap for the evening and instead am using a wide crochet knit hat. I never wore it in the winter because the weave is so lose it didn't keep my head warm. It was very cute and made by an Italian designer so I bought it for a buck. Little did I know it would...
