To tell you the truth, some guys just look better WITHOUT a hat when they are dressing vintage. To me, its just not necessary most of the time.

I have a few as well, but I don't wear them often. If I do wear them, though, and I am also wearing cufflinks, I try to match the clip with the cufflinks and with the color of the buckle on my belt.
It just gives a bit of a neater appearance, IMO, if all of your accessories match.
