I am a 42-35-44 and bought the EW suit in a 16 which was WAY too big. I exchanged if for a 14 which was better but I would prefer it to be a tad snugger. OK, here it what I found. The finished measurements seem way too big for me also. Especially considering this is a fitted style dress. I just started cutting the pattern of this out yesterday. I haven't looked at the measurement on the pattern yet. I have used Butterick Retro before in other patterns and found the envelope measurements true. I will check back when I look at the pattern again.- CherryRed

Finished! I had to make the bust darts larger, lengthen the front waist tucks and add a third button, but I think it came out great! My first time working with and altering a vintage pattern.:D- CherryRed

Copy a pattern or use an original?
That is the same paper that you can buy through Nancy's Notion's. I just got it and it is only $6 a roll. It is much sturdier than pattern tissue but still flexible. What is your favorite red lipstick brand/shade?
I have 4 of the Revlon Matte collection. I love the Really Red best. The best time to buy them is when the are BOGO Free at Walgreens or CVS. There are also lots of Revlon $1 and $2 off coupons and on the BOGO, you can use 2 coupons, making each lipstick about $2.00!!
