    I would say get the matching charcoal grey waistcoat - dove grey is fairly easy to find ready made (Pakeman Catto and Carter, for example) whereas this is really your one chance to get a matching waistcoat made. I can't immediately think of a good source for houndstooth trousers in your budget...

    I've now got some collars up and an Esky plate. There was a bowler but it has gone already! If time permits I have another bowler/derby to go, also a nice 42"L black velvet jacket and (possibly) a stroller as well.

    I would guess somewhere in the range 1930s-1950s. A little research suggests that the Radiac name may have been dropped around 1964, when the parent firm was merged with Tootal; this may help give a "not later than" date.

    Mine too; I was lucky enough to find one just the right size for credit cards, etc. At £14 for a solid silver case, I thought that it offered far better value for money than any wallet I might find, as well as durability - plus I like it as a thing.
