    First venture into the world of furry beasts: Woodrow - I'm guessing late 50's but would welcome any information. Woodrow were a fairly successful hat producer, and one of several hatmakers who gained Royal Appointment, but are long gone.

    Dunn Lightweight arrived today. The good news is the ribbon and felt are in excellent condition, the band is supple with only a little wear: The bad news is I was expecting a 7 1/2 and it's a 7 1/8 On the positive side though it fits my wife perfectly :)

    Orangegrad -the centre bash looks good. Alan - nice choice of pugaree, it works well with that shade of straw. ------------------------ Warm and humid with occasional heavy showers - not good for a panama so I went for a Christy's linen cap to go with a linen suit:

    Josh - Very striking, although I confess it took me more than one viewing to decide whether I liked the extreme teardrop - I do. What's the crown height? Mike - You pull off stingies really well. The perceived wisdom that they only suit people with narrow faces is in my not so humble opinion...
