This shot is of my husband's grandfather Fred Jr. (a second generation American) and his Uncle Jack. Jack passed away this time last year at the age of 91. He was a tough guy that survived being shot in WWII, 2 bypass surgeries and 3 bouts of cancer. My husband Fred III was very close to him...
Earlier training helps too. I recently read that people with perfect (absolute) pitch usually started training before age six. That would probably increase a kid's chance of having relative pitch too.
My husband and I watch The Voice some and he does not notice when are sharp or flat unless...
The Baritone Wore Chiffon (The Liturgical Mysteries Book 2) by Mark Schweizer. A funny little mystery series and several of them are 99 cents for Kindle.
An old memory coming down on Kavanaugh Blvd in Little Rock, AR. I don't know how long it was there but I remember it from the mid sixties and it wasn't new then.
The sign will go to a neon museum in New Orleans.
My son's girlfriend is preparing Thịt Kho Tàu (caramelized pork and eggs braised in coconut juice) and summer squash. I've never had it but it smells heavenly.
Speaking for my husband here. He is a night owl and enjoys sitting on the patio with the dogs enjoying a cigar and an Irish Whiskey after everyone else is asleep. The dogs know the routine, when he opens humidor they start getting excited.
If someone in the house was sick my grandmother poured a kettle of boiling water over the dishes draining in the rack. I am trying to do things more like she did. She lived to be 93 so I figure she was doing something right.
I did a quick pin curl set this morning that turned out better than usual and even survived the southern Louisiana humidity pretty well.
How do you like my ash (gray!) highlights?
My house gin is Broker's, a really good dry gin that won't break the bank. A G&T made with Brokers and Jack Rudy tonic is wonderful. Plus is has a hat!
I am 5'9" and have similar problems, and how dare I have shoulders. My mother would sew false cuff on my jeans in novelty denim so that they would be long enough when I was a teenager in the seventies.
Glad you have a quiet night. I am busily researching epilepsy. It is a coping mechanism.
We went out again last night which is our regular night out. Met some people visiting from were I grew up and a contestant from season 4 of The Voice.
