My dad told me to always carry a knife. I am now 52 and still do either in my purse or a pocket. Usually my dad's Case Stockman. I have a lovely sheath knife he gave me that has a metal bear head on the end of the hilt.

Enjoyed it, but had a lot more trouble understanding the dialogue than usual for some reason.
Shoes are my biggest challenge vintage or otherwise due to nerve pain and size (10W) issues. Between that, being tall and plus sized my I rarely dress vintage. I get my fix by browsing FL.
I worked at a new or used independent bookstore. Profit margins in the book business are small and the big box book retailers killed it and all but one of the other independent book sellers in Baton Rouge. There are still two used bookstores.
