    Pale or Tan?

I've heard great things about the Mecca moisturiser with SPF (not sure if that brand is outside of Aus..).although i haven't actually used it myself. I don't tend to wear much foundation during the day so that hasn't been too much of an issue with me though I definitely get where you're coming...

    Pale or Tan?

I've never had a tan and I live in Australia! Haha - I freckle a lot or else I burn but unlike Stray Cat when I peel I swear i'm just as pale as I was before! I always buy moisturiser with spf but I just have to put up with the greasiness and wear sunscreen if i'm actually going to spend time in...

Going vintage from a shaved head...

Hi Everyone - thanks so much for all your wonderful suggestions and kind words :) It's been a little while now since i did the shave (raised about $1500 in the end !) I have to say I'm loving it! I didn't go fully bald - just to a no.2 buzz cut on the sides and a little longer (a 3 or 4 I think)...

    Beauty Marks

I have a lot of freckles on my face and one particularly large one on my left cheek under my eye. It shows up through my makeup so sometimes i darken it with pencil and sometimes i just wipe away the foundation over it. I've always felt i looked really odd when my face is covered by foundation...

Going vintage from a shaved head...

hi all :) in march this year I'm shaving my head to raise money for a cancer charity and I was wondering if you had any advice on the best way to grow your hair out from that. Ill probably get a no. 3 or 4 buzz cut to start with and I've not had short hair since I was a kid, i think the shortest...

    The Legend of Korra

I watched the whole thing online since it isn't on TV where I live (I was in Australia for the first 7 episodes and in the UK for the others) and I absolutely loved it. The first series of Avatar is by far and away my favourite tv series of all time and I was worried it wouldn't live up to the...

    Favorite Vintage Perfumes

A few days after I received the samples I was in the shopping centre and thought that I'd see if anyone had L'Interdit so I could see (smell) the difference. Nowhere I went to had ever even heard of it! A lady at David Jones though told me to go to the pharmacy though as they had a...

    Cold Cream- Brands and advice!

fortworthgal that jar is awesome ! I found one of those old glass jars with a rubber seal on a shelf at home that has "Le Parfait "Super" " set into the glass on the lid and I knew I had to put my cold cream in there! I have no idea what it used to have in it but I just cleaned it out with soap...

The White Stripe: a hair dilemma

Just for anyone else interested - I've dyed my hair fairly consistently for the past 6 years or so both at home and in salons. For the most part it was dyed natural colours with a few blonde highlights and that sort of the thing - for the record my hair started off naturaully bright auburn...

SugarKitten - haha I barely ever use sets as I don't have any books right now and I can never remember them either - if you're hair is too short for rollers could you try using pin-curls or hotsticks? Not really sure about how to fix the right side- you may have noticed I'm not the most precise...
