I like this design the most.

The sweatband is plastic, so first of all add a leather sweatband.
I agree, it's important you learn the basic style rules before you start building your wardrobe.
Just get brown shoes and you should be good. And a black belt if you don't have one.
I know this isn't encouraging to say, but I must.
Your shoes should match your belt.
Black belt with black shoes.
Brown belt with brown shoes.
Leathers should match too.
Precious metals should also match (Gold with gold, silver with silver)...
Here in Toronto, our summers are mild, not hot. It's cooler here in Toronto. Good thing I don't need to get a straw in terms of protection.
The average for July is I would say 25-30C with around 50% humidity. This could easily rise to 35C and 90% on certain days.
What about at McDonald's and your seated at a table and there is a safe place to put the hat. Would you still leave it on? I would take it off unless if there is no where safe to put it. For example: counter tops: crowded restaurants, etc.)
There is a sale for fur hats right now.
I know that most of you guys wear your felts during winter, but sometimes it gets to cold for that.

Here.
I'm not affiliated with them.
Congratulations! We're lucky that it's winter in Australia. This is why shipping is really quick. When I first tried my FED IV, it was bigger then I expected, but I still like it.
I was wearing my FED IV deluxe in moonstone in mid 80s weather. I was cooler overall with the hat then without it even though I was sweating more on my forehead. I also wear shoes, pants, and a long sleeved shirt. Only my hands are directly exposed.
In short, hats whether felt or straw keep...
So far, I've received many compliments from the ladies about my usual attire and FED IV in moonstone. The men on the other hand usually don't say anything as 99% of men don't know anything about style.
