To be honest, the kind of person who would follow the fashions of somebody from Big Brother would be the same kind of person who follows any trend, irregardless of how stupid they look. Thankfully, there's not too many of them floating about, and next week they'll have found something else to wear
Not a replacement for a wrist watch for me. If I want to see the time, I want to just have to glance at my wrist, not faff about taking something out of a pocket
KT, I won't be going for a while (leaving London next month), aiming for a suit from there by next summer, so if you try them out, I'd appreciate the feedback!
I read somewhere that it is considered ostentatious and vulgar-most OTR don't have functioning buttons-and shows off that your suit is bespoke and that you're rich. In Britain, showing off your wealth isn't the done thing. Might be allowed in the States though, you guys are a bit more showy ;)

Basically its soft, opens at the top, 2 compartments inside. I'll get a pic up at some point. Far more practical than a hard one, if I need to get to my water on the tube there's no problem, and I have on compartment for work files, the...
Seems that's becoming an international problem, I thought it was just our home grown chavs!
And as for hats, this summer I've noticed loads of straw hats on public transport, admittedly mostly on tshirt wearing types, but a few worn with blazer and trousers work attire.
