We have a local butcher, grocer, chemist, general shops, bakers and cobblers just up the road from here, bearing in mind that this is the middle of london! Most of them are independently owned as well!
I do seem to recall it being very fashionable in the 1920s/1930s to wear one dark red part of the ensemble, either cummerbund, bow tie or pocket square (but never have all matching! Only one in maroon)

I use the presidential, just fold it in half twice and it's done-the clear, straight line.
I sometimes use the puff, where it's just shoved in, or the 1 point
fold it in half diagonally, then fold in at the sides with just one point out, ina sort of trapezium shape

Personally I always dressed up for work. As I'm going to uni in a week, my contract in finance ended yesterday. As I was leaving, a Director stopped me and asked me who I was.I told him I was leaving, and he actually offered me a mid-level job purely based on my appearence!

There is a mason lodge at my old school. Funnily enough, all the governers are masons, and we received kind visits from the Duke of York, Duke of Edinburgh, both masons. I'm sure it was entirely coincidental though

I was hoping I could bring out the trenchcoat and hat again, but it's still too hot. Plus the Tube is always around 40 degrees, regardless of any outside weather. Gosh, I do miss getting the trains instead of the tube.
