That totally confused me, too! I had to look at it about ten times... I think for some reason the seller tucked in the peak on the neckline for some of the pictures. I have no idea why, though, cause that neckline is really neat.
Outrageous Tobacco Novelty Print!
I didn't bid on this dress, but I was VERY interested to see what it went for...
A 50s New Look novelty print dress with tobacco paraphernalia! Cigarettes, pipes, matchbooks, cigars, rolling papers... you name it!
Absolutely wild!
The NYT steampunk article that never was...
(From my view, all the replys from Story's post about the steampunk article in the Times are gone! FL seems to have eaten everything in the thread since February. Who knows if it will come back, and who knows if this will show up, but here goes...)...
Wow, shepkatt, thanks for the heads up!
If I may ask, where did you find that first pair of brown and white oxfords?
They really caught my eye... as did about 50 other pairs of his shoes! ;)
Hahaha! Is that a Dwight Schrute reference?!
I'm getting a lot of peer pressure to buy it... I'll just have to move to a colder climate at some point :p
Field trip!
And on another topic: someone tell winter to come back. The beginning of summer and I just now find this coat for sale? Unfair, I say.
For you steampunk loving ladies, it's from Newport News of all places and comes in mulberry, black, and double espresso shades.

Teekay, what a great treasure! :) Sweetheart jewelry is fairly common, as others have said, but the sentimental value is priceless. Your pieces are a wonderful gift!
Your locket is especially beautiful... how great to have that picture of your grandparents!
I have a bracelet from my...
So short! I'm 5'2"... I actually lied on my driver license and added an inch.
Gosh, as long as I was lying, why didn't I add 2 or 3 inches?! lol
But I don't mind being this size... I like taller men and pretty much EVERY MAN is taller at this height!
RetroQueen - Someone posted this link on the Lounge last year (I forget who... whoever you are: thank you!) and I've been holding on to it for an occasion just like this! :D
Three Custom will blend you a perfect match or your favourite lipstick/eye shadow/nailpolish etc. if you send them a...
The Bakelite thing rang a bell for me, too. Someone posted this article to this thread last March. It talks a little about Gabriela designing a Bakelite piece:
However, that article is from October 2006, so make of it what you will [huh]
