Ladies Rockport Chutney Boots 6M- Black

I got these on ebay and they just won't zip up over my calves. Thought I'd see if anyone would be interested in them. Here's the link to them on Zappos.

They retail for $179. They are Brand New!!! Very nice, just don't fit. I paid $30 bucks, so that plus shipping and they are yours!

texasgirl, are they patent or flat leather? Is the circumference 15" like the Zappos url says? And finally, do you think they fit a true 6? I wear 5.5 but can do a 6 with socks (like with a boot). I just can't do anything particularly narrow.

Clara - I have these boots in brown! I wear a 6, but they were only available in 7 when I got them. Fortunately, with socks you can't even tell the difference since it's such a substantial shoe. There's a good 1 1/2" from my toe to the end of the she when I wear them and my feet don't slide at all. They seem to be true to size with the ability to fudge an awful lot

They're not narrow, either. On the bottom of my sole, 3 3/4" at the very widest part.

The top really is 15"... and at the verrrry top, underneath the two buckles there is maybe 1 1/2" give if you stretch it out.

I know shoe sizing is like fingerprinting, but I hope this helps lol

For the record, these suckers are comfy!!

They are flat black leather. I usually wear a 6 and they are a little snug on my foot area and my foot is kinda wide. The leather is really soft. I think they'd be fine for your 5 1/2. The calf area measures 14" If they were the 15" I think they would have fit. It does have a buckle on the side to make a little bigger or smaller. Thanks for the info Shearer! I wish I could fit in them. Darn my calves!!! lol

Shearer, darling, so nice to see you! Thanks for the info. I've been looking for period looking boots, and the 14" circumference is great, especially if I can take it in if need be. I want these to wear with sensible skirts and sweaters in the winter, to look like a 30s adventuress!
