I was doing good, watching what I ate and exercising, and then PLOMP! I fell off the wagon. Gained back five of the twenty pounds I lost. :( I'm starting fresh. My biggest roadblock is my sweet tooth. If it even looks like sugar, I want it. lol
My Mom surprised me with a lippy from Bare Minerals - she wears the foundation and concealer and decided to get me a little something too (aww, thanks Mom! :D ). The color is "Red Delicious" - not a true red, almost rosy - but the texture is creamy and once you blot it, the staying power is...
Mom was cleaning out her lippies and gave me a L'Oreal Colour Riche in Seafleur. It's a bright fuschia with a hint of iridescence - the moment I put it on I fell in love.
I'm so glad I popped in here. For some reason I had it in my head that Payless only had saddle shoes for kids! Now I can't wait to stop by there soon. :D

Extreme closeup (yup, that's Papa, front and center as always):

Hi Kids! I have a set of Clairol Lock 'n' Roll hot rollers, purchased back in 1989 and used maybe a total of three times. Everything is in excellent condition - all of the rollers are still there, the case has no chips or cracks, it heats up beautifully, and has the original instructions...
One of my favorite taxi drivers still pronounces things like this. One time he was telling me about a "terlitberl" he saw on the side of the road. Took me a couple of tries before I realized he'd seen an abandoned toilet. :eusa_doh:
Long Island has an accent all its own. lol
I've been trying to bring back "it's the berries". With varying levels of success. lol
Another thing my friends get a kick out of is that I call movies "pictures". It's not something I affected, I've just always called 'em that. :)
