WWII boots?
I found these boots at a local thrift store here in town.
I think they are the original version of the What Price Glory? M1943 2 buckle boot.

They were $37.00 and need new laces but were...
I thought this web site might be a good resource for vintage hunting pictures.

Lots of neat old hunting gear and vintage work wear; I personally really like the vintage hunting/ sportswear look for my wintertime attire.
2lbs. 11.1 oz. pants
I recently found these at a local thrift store. The trousers are 100% cashmere, fully lined, and are the heaviest pair of pants I have ever encountered. I actually took them to the post office to get an accurate weight...2lbs. 11.1 oz...

Where the wind comes sweeping down the plains!!!
Indeed, it is nice to see another Okie on the Lounge. After finding the Fedora Lounge and getting a crash course in Golden Era style, I now realize that we actually have tons of places to pick up good vintage here in OKC.
Gap Denim
Here are pics. of the Gap selvedge I bought for $19.00
They are not terrible low rise on me, however I am fairly short so very little is low rise on me.
BTW... Bellytank those Levis are stunning!
$19.00 + Tax
I paid $21.66 on 6/28/2007. Even at $19 plus tax they are good looking and a bargain. Seeing them paired with classic vans looks pretty cool by the way.
Gap jeans
I found them at the Quail Springs Mall location here in Oklahoma City. When I bought them (about a week or so ago) they still had a fair amount of them in stock.
Gap jeans
Great call Jovan, I bought those exact jeans about a week ago at the Gap for $19.00. I intially balked at mall jeans but they really do look great (imho) and the denim color with the blue selvege is pretty fantastic when rolled up at the bottom. I recently wore them with a pair of...
They are cap toe double-monks. I will attempt to upload the pics here. I suspect your right about the size as they are quite a bit larger than I can wear. I haven’t cleaned or polished them so they are a little rough but overall in good shape...
John lobbs are John Lobb Paris
The inside of the shoes say John Lobb Paris and the side of the interior says: 9008 912E
136x William
I assume that the name of the shoe style is William, and perhaps one of those numbers is a size and the other a last used to produce the shoe...
Hello all, I am new to the Fedora Lounge as a user but have been lurking for quite a while. I have really enjoyed learning about the “Golden Era”. I have always felt a strong attraction towards vintage clothes, cars, movies, furniture etc. and it has been a real revelation to pour through...
