Old Navy black V neck Sweater

What I wore today:

First "decent" quality fedora?
Here is a Dobbs Golden Coach I wore today.
I liked the look of it but I didn't spend much because I wasn't really sure of the quality. How would you rate the quality of Dobbs Golden Coach hats?
Also it seems a bit fuzzy at the brim's edge so I imagine I...
Charleston Bowes, I can’t believe I overlooked your bow tie it’s a beaut.
Jovan, Thank you for the kind words and truly appreciated.
AlanC, your are the example of not having to always spend a fortune to look like a million bucks and if you ever get to OKC you have a standing invitation...
Douglas that Turgis is truly awesome.
Indycop and Deelovely I love that the whole family is involved. I especially like your Peters Bros. and the Champ hats.
Midnight Blue you look like you could be an Apparel Arts picture come to life.
Here is mine for today: Weatherproof Newsboy...
Indycop, Deanglen, and Cookie, Thank you for the kind words.
Cookie I bought it at a local shop called "Soul Boutique". The brand is UBI and unfortunatly I could not find an online retailer that had the same hat for sale. I suspect if you contact the manufacturer they might know of a local...
First WAYWT? post.
Pardon the picture quality I am just getting used to taking pics of myself.
Tweed newsie, vintage wool vest, brown and white dotted square end knit tie, herringbone slacks, and vintage wingtips.
Clearly I need to clean the mirror.
Great thread.
The Cap Faction, what a wonderful and needed thread idea. There are some really superb hats here guys.
Here is my addition a tan, black and brown woven newsboy with a leather brim.
<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img...
After wearing and collecting “newsie” style flat caps for a couple of years and bolstered by the truly remarkable “What hat are you wearing today?” thread I have decided to take the plunge into the world of fedoras and trilbys. I currently have a Dobb’s Fifth Avenue straw with box and a couple...
A1 jacket question
Hello Fedora Loungers,
I am under the impression that there wasn't necessarily a standardized A1 design with absolute set specifications and that many of the flyers dictated the subtle details when they bought their own A1 flight jackets.
I am considering having an A1...
Oklahoma city 89ers
Thanks Scotrace, there are multiple 89ers caps on that site and as I am a local Oklahoma City guy I have a lot of fond memories of going to 89ers games as a kid. I think I may have to pick out a ball cap.
:offtopic: I actually drive by the site of the old 89ers stadium...
Hey thanks guys!
Scotrace and Valhson,
I appreciate the comments, as the haircut was inspired by the posts here, compliments coming from Fedora Loungers, is high praise indeed!
My new barber is really neat. I really like him and his shop. He bought the shop from his boss about ten years...
I LOVE my Clark's desert boots. My job requires me to be on my feet for 8-10 hours on concrete foors and they are very comfortable. They also look great with chinos IMHO. I like them so much that I really want another pair in the sand color.
Great shoes.
Fedora Lounge inspired haircut.
After lurking on The Fedora Lounge for months and finally joining up I was inspired to take the vintage haircut plunge. Here is my attempt at a Golden Era-ish haircut which replaces a longer messier look. I'm not real certain what part of the Golden Era I am...
Papillion
Thats funny my mom has a Schipperke as well, and I've gotta say that your Schipperkes are really good-looking dogs.
My girlfriend recently brought home this little fella:
(The picture is from the breeders home)
He is a 13 week old Papillion named Elliott.
Thanks for the info!!!
As always the gents of Fedora Lounge are an awesome resource. Thanks for the info, coming from you guys I feel confident that I can order without problem. :)
I was curious if anyone had ordered from www.frontofrussia.com. Their ordering system seems a little suspect, largely because they ask you to wire a money transfer payment for the product prior to shipping your products. It seems like they could just take your payment and not send your order...
The best I could make of the markings inside of the boot is that they are a 9C. Yeah, they are definitely in rough condition. Tried them on again after work and one of the buckle straps came off!!! :rage: They are still pretty cool knocking around town boots.
