They look very nice. If you were inclined, I would love to see all of the various diameters on a model. I don't have a clear idea of how small a 9 pounce beret is, or how large a 11 is.
And, finally, are the berets universel universal enough to fit a 63 head?
Thanks.
Base your decision on not what you paid for the hat and shipping, but what a similar quality new hat would cost. If it would be a mediocre $30 hat new, I doubt I'd pay for a new sweatband. If it would cost $200 new, I would.
After Keith's crazed Chinook, this new Borsalino seems sedate, if not even a little drab.
But lets call it classic, instead.
It is a summer hat, but the price was right and it will be 60 today and into the 70s on Saturday, so it isn't completely out of season. It should be perfect for out...
I have a lambskin jacket with a torn seam that has torn further past the seam.

Or barring that, someone not in Houston?
It is not a vintage jacket, but a good one and one I am fond of. Thanks.
I almost liked the fedora with the wide, flat brim. At least it wasn't a cloth, stingy brimmed fedora perched on the top and back of his head.
The crushed, open crowned hat looked bad.
Not that what I think has any weight, but I didn't take mentioning the hats Stuffsmith for sale as being out of place in anyway.
I think that if it shouldn't be done, the folks charged with that responsibility should be the ones to mention it.
ManofKent, you are looking a little like Father Guido Sarducci there, all in black.
Father Guido Sarducci was the worldly-priest alter-ego of a comedian from the '70s and '80s named Don Novello. He was very funny.

I have Googled for information about velour felt, with very little success.
Who can tell me about it, or provide a link to something? I believe it is fur felt, but know little more than that. Is it a different fur, a different way of making the felt, a different finish to the same basic felt...
