sixsexsix, I think you are right. I like their Pan-stick makeup, however that news story left quite a bad taste in my mouth. It is really too bad all around-- after discussing it with a friend a while back we had both decided not to purchase any more MF products because the association was...
Coming in late on this one (bump, anyone?) :) but I wanted to chime in with my current favorite pick-- Tresemme Tres Two. My grandmother turned me onto this one. I like the hold, the scent, and the price! Hairspray is a miracle for me right now because I am trying to grow out my bangs...
I voted "other" because I think you would look fabulous with a tint of darker brown-- I liked the way the "black" hair color photo looked the best but think that maybe dark brown would be even better! :)
Right now I am Garnier Nutrisse No. 67, which is a light auburn shade. I am very happy with both the color and the condition in which the dye left my hair. :)
Right now I am using Revlon Colorsilk in No. 72 "Strawberry Blonde." I believe it is a level 8 gold-copper type color. I tried several brands in similar shades before I settled on this one, which I have been very happy with and plan to keep up. One of these days I guess I will have to take a...
I happened upon an interesting recipe for "old fashioned" laundry powder "just the way grandma used to make it" using Fels Naptha (or other bar soap such as Kirk's or Ivory), washing soda and borax. I grated one full bar of the Fels Naptha and added that to 1 1/2 c. each of the borax and...
Hi ladies! I am wanting to go back to a light red from a light blonde, and I had heard a lot of good reviews of Revlon's Colorsilk. I just tested out a mixture of #72 Strawberry Blonde with #53 Light Auburn on hairs from my brush. Here is the result:
So, my question is... does it look...
I used to use L'Oreal Couleur Experte in 7.3 Butterscotch (a warm, quasi-reddish dark blonde) and it came out very similar to that. :) I went really easy on the highlights though, and would recommend that anyone else trying it do the same!
I haven't dyed my hair for a really long time and was letting it grow out to its natural light/medium blonde-- however today in the store I saw the Clairol Perfect10 in a new color- Medium Reddish Blonde (8RB)- and it is just the color that I was always hoping they would come out with! I think...
I had this problem, until I moved up a cup size. I never would've imagined that would be the case, but it solved the problem! My b00bs aren't that "big," but they are "wide set" if that makes any sense at all... [huh]
Here are my current top 3 favorite shampoos:
Garnier Fructis for colored hair
Perlier White Almond 2 in 1
Yves Rocher Energie 3 in 1
These are really, really good!! :D
The only difference I saw between the German-made tin and the Mexican made one is that the Mexican made one had two added preservatives listed. I am not sure if this was an actual ingredient difference or just different ingredient listing requirements between the two countries though(?)
The...
Hmm, interesting that Emily Blunt is featured. I first saw her in Poirot and Foyle's War! So in my mind she really fits in with the whole retro theme... more so than the rest of them! Garnered her a lot of respect with me... (I am a big fan of both Poirot and Foyle's War).
ETA: By the way...
Oops, I forgot to add my other favorite- Calyx (by Prescriptives). My grandmother wore it when I was a little girl and she would give me her empty bottles. I used to sit there in my room and smell it to remind me of her (she lived very far away and I didn't get to see her very often).
