Started collecting leather jackets last year and would appreciate some feedback on fit. I am 6'3", 290lb and 51" chest measured in a t-shirt. I have picked up the following:

Branded Garments Crosszip (Beast?) size 54:

Schott 569 70's car coat size 3XL
View attachment 671999

Aero/TB Original Hercules in Midnight Blue FQHH Size 48:

Cockpit USA A-2 Horsehide Size 52L

What fits? What doesn't?
Thanks
Thanks all for the feedback. Seems people were split over the Schott car coat. Those who didn't care for it, what was off with that one?

Looks pretty good. Sleeves are a bit long for my taste but lotsa folks like them there
Makes sense. I haven't worn that one much. I wonder if the sleeves will land shorter on my wrist/hand as it gets broken in and develops some more rolls/creases around the elbows.

Nothing particularly wrong with the fit, more so that the extremely long silhouette is unflattering on a leather jacket

Should I keep it?

I'd usually prefer a longer length as well...
but sometimes I see guys on here wearing stuff I'd feel looks too short on me personally, but they pull it off - yours looks like one of those cases too.

Maybe the watch helps make it look like the right length.

I’m on the fence, I want more opinions, it’s a little tight to button as well.
If it’s tight to button now opinions from others won’t change that and it will still be too tight.
If you kept the jacket the tightness of fit will always be nagging and the likely end result is that it will be worn less and less.

For me the only opinion which counts is my own. Regardless of what someone else might think if I’m happy and comfortable with the particular look/style/fit etc. of an item of clothing that’s all that matters as I’m the one who’s going to be wearing it.
