How to repair a fedora's brim?

Jase - professional hat restorers in the UK are a very rare breed. I think trial and error following gtdean's advice is your best bet for the brim. For the pinch I'd hold it over a boiling kettle then mould by hand.

    German & Austrian Hutmachers

YTT - nice finds. I think the Borsalino's were made in Italy by Borsalino, whilst the Stetson's were made by Mayser. The German made Whippet I've got is a very good quality hat. If you see any in a 60/61... :)

The other new arrival from Liddleman. Made for Saks. It's got a slightly dimensional brim - the front is about 2" the sides and rear are 1 7/8th", Crown is about 5 1/2" open, 5" creased. Ribbon is 2" wide, and the very nice felt has a Cavanagah/Guild edge. I'm guessing it's 60's or very early...

    Post New Hats Here!

Hi Nigel yes it's made for RM. I thought it was identical to the Campdraft, but comparing it directly to my Campdraft I'm not 100% sure - the brim, brim binding and ribbon is definitely identical, but the crown might be a smidgen taller, but that might just be the creases. The RM was sold...

    Need hat advice

That's a good first hat to start a collection. Yes I'd go with 60's for the reasons others have mentioned. If the sweatband is real leather rather than synthetic or bonded leather you can carefully turn the inside of the sweatband out and carefully apply leather conditioner/balsam to soften...
