I forgot to mention that I would also entertain offers. The darker of the two hats is, in my opinion, the better of the two because it has a nicer "finish" in the sweatband, including that wax paper lining between the sweat and the liner--- and the felt is sooo soft, probably 100% beaver. Is this a good price for a Resistol on the Bay?
Dave, you can do a lot better than $150.00, although if you really like the style it would be very difficult to find another like it. I wouldn't offer more than $50 and that's because of the size, otherwise a good quality '60s stingy brim is worth about $35-40.00. If you were a size 7- 7 1/8...- fedorafiend

How many hats do you own?
I now own well over 100--probably 130 or so, and need to stop adding and start selling off at least the ones that do not fit me properly. "cheap" whippet I think the price is a reflection of the non-whippet like bash and an apparently narrow brim. Something seemed amiss but probably just an optical illusion...I bid on it but lost it to a last second snipe. I regret not bidding higher but already have two whippets in the kennel.- fedorafiend

I own too many but can't stop Scott. I like your top twenty method of rotating purchases and sales. I now own more than sixty and have to adopt a similar system---maybe top thirty? Problem I have is that I tend to get attached to all of them and find it difficult to part with any.- fedorafiend
