It looks like an open road that has been reshaped. Pretty common to reshape a crown. Akubra campdraft would work too as a modern version that's like that.

Hey guys, I recently purchased a vintage wool/tweed cap, and the sweatband is rather soiled (cloth). What's the remedy? Dry clean? Oxi Clean? What do you do?

Air space is insulation, and insulation is good for hot or cold. I don't think a lower crown is of any benefit either way in that regard.

I'm wondering about suit vests that are of one fabric style and don't have that polyester back. Many times i find myself wearing a suit but removing the jacket and just wearing the vest, but i hate the look of that polyester back. Any options out there for a suit with vest that doesn't have that...
I found a straw hat I really like the style of but the price is WAY CRAZY imo. I was hoping others here might know of cheaper alternatives. The last straw hat I bought was about $60. This Ofarrell starts at $675!!!! And goes up to $999 for better straw!!!
Here's the hat. Let me know if you are...
I knew an Art lover would chime in. Not sure I can spend that much on a hat, but if there are no other options it's a possibility. About the brim, yeah I like about 3.25"... Just broad enough to give full sun protection
I'm looking for a white or light colored hat with a broader brim (at least 3 inches) that has a SOFT brim.
The intended use is for golf on windy days. A hat with a stiff brim just gets blown off your head in those big gusts (and then you have to go chasing it as the wind makes it roll very...
I love the old boxing matches. I grew up as Ali was retiring, Sugar Ray Leonard popped in and out, and Tyson ruled and we were all begging for the Tyson/Holyfield match that would never happen (until long after it was really relevant!) All the "great" boxers were long gone. I loved to watch...
Well, it will be too big at first. You'll need to drill a new hole for the buckle prong, and take a pair of scissors to trim the excess. To mark the new hole for the prong, you'll need to...
(1) put the belt on the hat through the buckle without engaging the prong and pull it rather snug - not...
Here's a new hatband from an odd source - the women's belt rack at a local thrift shop. They've got some awfully skinny leather belts that a man would never wear (on his waist) but they make a great hatband. Only cost 50 cents.
