    I am an archivist, my interest lie in the preservation of cultural artifacts (clothing, knick knacks, vehicles, etc) that are of interest to me. It's just so happens that the things that interest me hail from the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s!

    Amazing! Completely convincing 1930s ensemble assembled from more modern pieces! I met Joe at a balboa festival in San Francisco about 5 or 6 years ago; we showed up wearing identical knit shirts! (albeit in different color schemes)

    Yes. Europe had the wide Oxford bags that could fit over a pair of plus-4s. The US had sailor inspired, wide bottom flairs.
