I have a pair similar to these. They're not unlike what
Nicolas Cage wore in 'National Treasure'. Not quite round in the
'Lennon specs' sense, but a very vintage look. I love mine.

I Stand Corrected! Indeed it is. I was acting on the assumption that the 'tail dragger' was a DC-3 not even considering that the B-307 was also conventional gear. The 377 'Stratocruiser' is the tri-cycle gear aircraft. Geesh, why didn't they just call that hat 'airplane' and avoid all this...
And, oddly enough, that's the Douglas DC-3 airplane in that ad - not a Boeing 307 'Stratoliner'! I can see why it is so confusing; 'Stratoliner' hat - Douglas airplane. Hmmm..

First question is: Is the film exposed? That is, has it been run through a camera and shot?
Second question is: How long ago?
Third: What film brand and ISO?
The point being that b/w film is a silver halide chemical that reacts to light to form the latent image. The latent image...
This is a good one for me! My Dad was born in 1901 and my Mom in 1912. I've got a brother born in 1932 and a sister born in 1934! The answer is NO!
My Dad wore a crew cut til the day he died. My Mom loves polyester. My brother was spit and polish Army and my Sister was a suburban Mom...
John Shakespeare, heir to the Shakespeare fishing tackle fortune kept a similar garage/barn filled with exotic cars including Bugatti's down in West Palm Beach, FL years ago. The Bugatti Type 41 is one of the most expensive and sought after vintage cars. Shakespeare kept his rare collection...
