Reenacting

Yes, I do WW2 reenacting. My impressions are Coldstream Guards, RAF, and Polish LWP Infantry. My wife is a reenactor as well. Our wedding was a 1940's wedding, however I chose to wear a vintage style suit from Indy Magnoli Clothiers instead of a uniform. Our friends said that there were more people dressed for the period than at any hangar dance or any other event they went had attended...lol

Cheers,

Yup,

I specialise in:

1. Sergeant Photographer in the British Army Film & Photographic Unit. I have done European theatre and am now looking at Middle East (Egypt).

2. Civilian photojournalist (British).

I am currently also looking at portraying an American civilian photojournalist (a la Robert Capa) and perhaps extending that to include OSS.

Fortunately my vintage camera gear covers all of these options.

Does anyone on this site do 1940's reenactments?

I do WW2 U.S. infantry in the European theater, circa June 1944-May 1945. Not a member of a unit but I've done some 'living history'.
