    I like this one alot! Maybe if the logo used the lightest blue thread on the tie instead of white? Or maybe silver/grey? The white just seems like a little to much contrast.

    How tough is basic training these days?

    Another difference between my experience and others is that our whole class was made up of cadets, probably a more serious bunch in general (and not any better than our enlisted counterparts by any means).:)

    Jump school was still pretty tough in '82. I didn't see any of the problems mentioned here. But I do agree it should only be two weeks, not three.

    Military experiences.

    Tank Platoon Leader for two years, then to Ft. Rucker for flight school. Spent the next 8 years as a pilot in the 1st Battalion 149th Aviation, 49th Armor Division. Left the guard as a 1LT.

    In that essay he talks about what to do with a shirt when not wearing a tie because it looks unfinished, that's why I like the loop collar shirt since they are designed to look good without a tie. Just another option. Here's a good example of that shirt and look on Salv in NYC recently.
