Hello, I am selling my speed demon because it is too small for me since I increased my sports sessions. I've worn it about ten times at most, it's barely broken in. There are all crown zippers and seamless back. I'm asking $2,000 for it. I live in France, I can deliver anywhere. I send all photos with measurements in cm. Tell me if you want more information

Just by looking at the photos, I can see that there is at least $600 of alterations & extras on this jacket, plus there's no wait time and of course, not to mention that not having to deal with Stu is something I would gladly pay extra for.

There isn't anything truly custom about having a custom Lost Worlds. If the sleeve & back length of this jacket fits, there's absolutely nothing else that buying directly from LW would have gotten you so while the price perhaps is on the higher-end, this still is a good deal for a good jacket.

Dear Sir, let me tell you that you are wrong. All zippers are modified. The jacket is only from last March. Here is the invoice which proves it.

I stand corrected. This would be good to add to the listing as additional selling points.

They’re the best zips I’ve tried. Beefy and very smooth action. Not easy at all to find these zips anymore, hence the premium.

I think because of zippers and the back modification, 600 zippers, 250 one piece back, that's 3k plus the customs, we looking nord of 3600 US
I just saw the bill now.. it's close to that amount after paying everything

I have handled a few of these particular crown zippers and they are truly bulletproof. Feel infinitely stronger than any other vintage zip. LW does use NOS zips.

Lovely jacket! In addition to pit to pit measurement, could you post some fit pics, and indicate your height and weight?

The shoulders width looks like size 40 to me. Also the sleeves length looks like 24.5 or so from the measurement pic? Did you order this with slightly shortened sleeves? Could be the way the tape is put against the jacket in the pic.

Also what weight is the jacket pls?

Très jolie veste ! En plus des mesures d'aisselle à aisselle, pourrais-tu poster quelques photos de ta coupe et indiquer ta taille et ton poids ?

La largeur des épaules me semble être une taille 40. La longueur des manches ressemble également à 24,5 environ d'après la photo de mesure ? Avez-vous commandé cela avec des manches légèrement raccourcies ? Cela pourrait être dû à la façon dont le ruban est placé contre la veste sur la photo.

Et quel est le poids de la veste svp ?

je fais 1m80 pour 80 kg , je suis musculeux et sportif. Taille fine et épaules larges. Il me va un peu serré mais pas non plus importable.

D'Épaule à épaule je fais 49cm.
Tour de poitrine : 112 cm
Tour de taille : 94 cm.

Je vous joins également les tailles envoyées par mail par Stuart en 42R.

Vous Trouvez également la longueur de mon bras.

Pour le poid je n'ai pas de quoi le peser, mais le 4 oz plus n'est pas un blouson fin c'est certain. Mais le poid ne se fait pas sentir car il est bien reparti sur le corps. En même temps s'acheter un lost world avec un cuir pareil cela fait parti du charme.

Voila je pense que vous avez beaucoup d'éléments pour vous faire une opinion. Avec Stuart nous avons du échanger près de 50 mails pour en arriver là.

Il est dans un très bon état, je ne veux pas brader ce blouson qui est une pièce exceptionnelle et rare d'occasion.

This is just a little disrespectful in my view. First, a seller can ask what ever they want. I have also listed before a jacket at about 10% off from retail and got a similar question from a member. There is a ton of good information as to the reason anyone lists items in this site.

The extras on this jacket Crown zippers about $400, Taxes $200. Delivery in the US is about $120 from LW. All paid by the buyer. If any Mod from the original size pattern is about $220 extra for this jacket.

So, about 30% off from the retail of the jacket is not that bad for a LW.

I think given the high prices of Buco jackets that were sold on this forum lately, the asked price for this LW jacket is not unreasonable in anyway.

I would give it a pass even I once really wanted a 5oz LW jacket - it’s beyond my affordability at this price.

I recently got an old Vanson in really heavy HH and for now my quench for thick & heavy leather is satisfied.
