I found these vintage British Walkers thrifting this week. They'd only been one a couple of times. I've already put more wear on them after two wearings than they had when I found them. Look at those all leather soles. Anybody have any idea of their vintage? I figured 1960s probably, maybe '50s.
Yes, it's dated, then says "Handmade for [me] by Steve Delk" with his name signed. Then off to the side it says "Indy 4". That's all handwritten and is on the reverse of the sweat behind the Adventurebilt imprint.
Here are a couple of pics of the interior. I'll try to get some pics of me wearing it, too. On the inside of the sweat Steve has written in my name and other details of the order, which is nice.
It's probably not the best approach to visit a vintage focused forum, ask to use the expertise of the jacket experts here then question the very premise of their expertise. If it's not your bag, so be it, but there's no reason to stir the pot.
