This one came in a vintage Borsalino I bought from Canada a while back, and I know the shop is still there. This card has no area code in the number so I'm not really sure how old it is.
What really gets me is the annual production in US of 22 million hats just before the war! I guess the vast majority of those millions of hats for all those years must have ended up in the dump. :(
I've been to movies where people have applauded at the end, and I think I even joined in a few times. It doesn't seem to happen much any more though.
And to those that say they would never do such a "goofy" thing, have they ever applauded their favorite sports club after a good play while...
That's nice! Not too western at all. I'd buy it if I wasn't afraid of my wife stringin' me up for buying another jacket. ;)
And IMHO it doesn't look very 70's.
