Shawl collar cardigan--- Need info about 100% acrylic.

I stay away from 100% acrylic. Had a sweater made from it some years back and it hung like a limp noodle. I hated the feel of it.

The Powder Room is Now Ladies Only. But I LIKE Talking To Ladies!

Shangas, you absolutely have not! I am referring to the small minority that seem to feel equality and fairness means they hold all the cards and anything less is an insult to their warped perception of fairness. We need more like you.

What was the last TV show you watched?

Glad to see more Kolchak fans out there. I've been enjoying revisiting episodes I have seen in close to 30 years. The budgets were definitely nonexistent but McGavin and Simon Oakland (Kolchak's long suffering editor) were great together! It's a shame the show didn't make it past one season...

    Oldest person you ever knew?

Reminds me of my grandmother's comment. When she first entered assisted living (at age 90) she looked around and commented, "I shouldn't be here, this place is for old people.." My family laughed and thought she was "losing it" but understood her comment. At 90 years old she was more lucid...

What Was The Last Movie You Watched?

I have not yet seen Grand Budapest Hotel but am disappointed to read this. For a guy who tries to present himself as a higher-brow-than-thou director he has taken the lowest common denominator more than once to make a mostly pointless cinematic point. In thinking about it, in The Royal...

Looking For Hat Suggestions for Orlando Vacation

I suggest a cheap light colored linen cap. Linen is lightweight which will be bearable in the hot steamy weather. I wouldn't spend good money on something which will get soaked on water rides and you may lose due to wind on roller coasters or deep sea fishing. Heck if they're cheap enough...

    Oldest person you ever knew?

The oldest person I know is my maternal grandmother Maria at 93 years old. She was born in 1921 in Orsogna, Italy and came to American in 1956 at 35 years old with two children (my mom and uncle) in tow. Her husband wasn’t allowed to enter the country at that time I believe due to a potential...

Wow. One of the most expensive repros ever?

I hope anyone browsing for a jacket takes it all into consideration. Just because one has $4k to drop on a jacket doesn't mean they should!
