Shamus,
I like that picture. That suit works well on you. Lends that "make good on your debt or you'll see me again, and the next time I won't be smiling" look if that makes any sense.
"I cannot believe in a God who wants to be praised all the time."
Friedrich Nietzsche.
"KILT, n. A costume sometimes worn by Scotchmen in America and Americans in Scotland."

Indeed I have spoken too soon. Today qualified as daytime jacket weather in the city. Gets my blood pumping, New York is always at her best in Autumn. Hoo-rah.
No big deal if they'll only print on their own, either way it's cool. I normally wear a size 38/40 shirt, but today's modern t-shirts hang on me like I am wearing a loose parachute (as opposed to avintage-style "fitted" shirt), so I'll need a size small. Can I send you payment through PayPal?
Hello Folks,
I have a number of auctions up on eBay, all 1930's and 1940's jackets (ten originals, three repros). You can find the auctions through my eBay username whistlejerk2rn9 .
Good show, old chap!
I most defimitely want one of these beauties. I'm fairly picky about the cut of the t-shirts I wear, would it be possible for me to send you one to print on? I've found that certain American Apparel shirts have have snug vintage fit.
Just this week we're finally getting some cooler nights in NYC. Finally we can break out the A-2s and halfbelts. With any luck we'll be able to wear them during daytime in two or three weeks.
Howdy,
I recently acquired an old goatskin jacket. Judging from the details of the pattern, I'm guessing the jacket was probably made in the mid-1930's. The label reads "TOPLINE Men's Wear by Sears Roebuck and Co." Before encountering this label I was under the idiotic impression that from the...
Howdy Folks,
Got a couple of good ones to set loose. First being a Levi's Big E 55XX jacket beautifully reproduced for the Levi's Vintage Clothing line, it's a size 48 and is in perfect one-wash condition. The 557XX is the first version of the "Type 3" jacket introduced around 1961. Beautiful...
Yeah, that Japanese chap does simply the finest jacket art I've ever seen. Nothing else comes close. His "Home James" is just killer.
Incidentally, I made quite a fine income from the mid 1980's painting reproductions of Iron Maiden album covers and Frazetta fantasy scenes on our local redneck...
Yeah, the 26th Street market had been slowly dying lot by lot for years. Depressing. Many a long walk I took with the dog Saturday and Sunday mornings. Lots of fine wimmens to ogle...And Canal Jeans...*sob*...they did reopen on 8th and B'way, but they now carry very little vintage. Cheap Jacks...
I have several of Yoshi's products. They are stone cold cool. Yoshi is an excellent businessman, responds to queries promptly and politely. You will not be disappointed.
Any wool newsboy or felt fedora suits me fine in the rain. For the Northeast winter chill I stick with my Eastman repro USAAF B-2 shearling flying cap and a fantastic 1930's seal fur cap I scored on eBay (both have optional earflaps, a much-needed feature up here).
