I've never quite been able to get a handle on all the different aspects of the CRT "theory" and who believes what. That article, like most I've read on the subject in an honest effort to learn, leaves me puzzled, confused, and with the beginnings of a headache. If someone could break it down...
Okay, Rick, I'm keeping an eye out for your straw hat announcements! A good straw hat is the only remaining hat I really "need", and I'd be very pleased to have one of yours. Will they all be Milan construction, or what are you thinking?
Thanks,
Regan
Wow, Alfred, the hat turned out great and I am pleased you're happy with it. I like that chocolate color. Rick has done a great job on all the hats he's made me, but the Trekker gets the most wear because it is my nicest (by far) outdoor hat. It has aged very well, through rain and snow and...
At least most of the jacket discussion is in the Outerwear section, where you can read it or not as you choose. What frustrates me is the Classifieds section, where you sometimes read through two pages of jackets and everything else to find the first hat for sale. Would it be that hard to put...
Some of the Akubras start out pretty stiff, and if you fool with them much when they are dry you run the risk of wrinkles/spiderwebbing that could be tough to get out later. Sort of like folding a piece of corrugated cardboard. However, I have seen some that are softer right off the bat that...
Yep, at least they were. They seem to have disappeared now... I usually view the Lounge on my home computer, but occasionally on my phone. The computer shows signature lines, user location, and some other things that you don't see on the phones.
I'm not familiar with those, but as I'm sure you already know, engineers were initially designed for standing, stationary work - very purpose-specific. Although I understand that they work pretty well for motorcycle riding, too. ;)
Either way, I can't imagine the heel that Edmond showed in his...
It makes no sense to me why those heels would be made like that. They certainly are not made for walking, and even though engineers are not designed to walk long distances in, those look like they would be particularly uncomfortable.
I couldn't agree more. A little bit of make-up on certain occasions is fine, but a heavy layer of spackle comliments no lady. And don't even get me started on the heavy tattooing you see on young "ladies" these days. It's certainly their right to wear heavy make-up or tattoos as they wish, but...
Both are magnificent birds. Like you, we have both species here, and screech and barn owls are common also. The barred owl’s normal deep, booming “Who-cooks-for-you, who-cooks-for-you-all?” sometimes turns into a weird call of the same cadence that sounds like a cross between a muted trumpet and...
Sorry, from the angle of your photos it sure looked like the tall leather stack and straight sloped heel of the packer, rather than the curved undercut logger heel of the Smokjumper, to me. Either way, nice boots!
Heck yes they can be sneaky, and intentionally so! Pack hunting behavior also proves they can carry out a "plan" as a group. And they most certainly can be shamed, and embarrassed... And it does seem to me that they can be content and even "happy" as well, if not quite in the same way that we...
